Artist Dindga McCannon conducts a hands-on workshop in which children learn to make real books from simple materials, including their own writing and drawing as well as photocopies of family memorabilia such as photographs. Note: please do not bring originals of family memorabilia--only copies. This workshop is an event of the Washington Heights Chapbook Festival, which is a collaboration of the Sunday Best Reading Series, the Fort Washington Branch of the New York Public Library, and the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance.It is part of the Art Stroll. www.artstroll.com Admission to the workshop is FREE.
