Artist residency / Residencias para artistas: The Waterpod
Deadline: August 31
The Waterpod is a public floating living sculpture traversing the NY Waterways during the summer/fall of 2009. Four artists live and work on board. The Waterpod is looking for artists to create installations that will become part of the permanent structure of the Waterpod, and performance and video artists to exhibit their work. Artists who wish to be considered for a live-on 3 day residency should write a letter explaining why their artistic goals would be enhanced by the experience.
The Waterpod es una escultura flotante y viva atravesando las aguas de NY durante el verano/otoño de 2009. Cuatro artistas viven y trabajan a bordo. The Waterpod está buscando artistas que créen instalaciones que formen parte de la estructura permanente del Waterpod, y artistas escénicos o cineastas que quieran exponer su trabajo. Los artistas que deséen ser considerados para una residencia de 3 días deberán escribir una carta explicando las razones por las cuales sus metas artísticas se verían enriquecidas por la experiencia.
