All the violent people

With toys of fire,

Permitted to destroy,

to maim,

to hurt,

the innocent.

 

On a street corner,

In front of a home,

In a movie theater,

In a school.

One child kills another; its in the news.

Sadly every day.

 

Because of wild eyed collectors of death

Selfish unto themselves

Needing more and more firepower.

Using excuses like

the need for protection.

Using the constitution falsely.

 

The bad, the deranged have firepower

because of the selfish greedy ones;

and their perverse need for fire machines,

meant only for war.

 

All the violent people
