Born: 4/13/38 Boston, Mass. Life Long Artist. Began as Jazz Drummer in the 50s. Got into Photography on arrival in NYC 1965. Freelanced in 60s and 70s, work published by almost every American Magazine and Book Publisher. Author of 'Crowd at Woodstock 1969' made famous by Warner Bros. as centerpiece for their Ad Campaign for the Movie. Taught at New School in early 70s, School of Visual Arts until 1985. Recipient of NYSCA 'Supported Work' Grant in 1989. Work accepted to MOMA Photography Collection 1993.

Art is Communication, an effort to express the Inner Experience of one unique Artist Individual in relation to the Human Experience more generally. It is NOT about such crass considerations as Fame and Fortune, i.e. MONEY, and any Artist who allows themselves to believe that it DOES is doomed to become a Hack no matter how successful they are at the cultivation of Connections and a notability they do not deserve. I've been an ARTIST all my adult life and if I've been Good it's because I never allowed myself to be seduced by the Lust for Gold. If I wanted that I'd have become a Lawyer...
