The bull and girl are by 2 different sculptors and the bull sculptor complained that the girl was changing the positive ( "bull market" ) image of the bull. So in 2018 then mayor Bill de Blasio had her moved to wall st ( 4 blocks) where she is now. People complained that her message was even more radical facing the stock exchange but the mayor held his ground. The bull remains in the battery and, some say, has a slight tinkle in his eye after the incident
