Hudson Heights has many faces: the orthodox religions and non-believers. There are people from all parts of the US and all the world. It's surprising how many multiple-generations of families are here, too. Moms and dads who are living in house that they grew up in and are now raising their own children. There are artists and musicians, have and have-nots. I've called home for almost fifteen years. It's beauty is muted. Fancy establishments have a limited life span here. It's still Manhattan but different. Not quite the Bronx or Yonkers- many call it "Suburban Manhattan." The title has a ring of truth to it.
