I have never been able to forego the notion that art images can simply enrich the everyday of an individual. I hold on to the idea that an art image hanging on the wall-walked by every day, glanced at, looked at, lived with is a viable/important purpose of art. My images are to hang on the wall. My images are to be lived with. Some images are dark but life is dark at times and the dark can make one appreciate the sunshine. I want my images to breathe-to expand and contract. I want my images to be the fabric of the everyday. My images are about the everyday.
