swallowtail butterfly on crososmia plant

The red Crocosmia plants were not planted at Fort Tryon Gardens, they have airborne seeds and just decided to be here. Odd because I havn't seen them anywhere else around - have you? This swallowtail butterfly is enjoying their saffron nectar. Also shown a Cabbage White butterfly which has a special liking for the lavender plants in the garden.
