Event Description
5-6 members of the Hamilton Grange Senior Center will read their short journal pieces out loud to the public. These writings are the result of weekly workshops conducted by Nancy Bruning, Su-Casa Artist in residence, which were designed to provide seniors with the opportunity to discover, appreciate, express, and document the richness, texture, and depth of their lives through the written word. Attendees of this pubic presentation will be invited to participate in a short segment, “Write Your 6-Word Memoir,” and will also receive a complementary printed anthology of the seniors' works.
