Pianist John Davis will be giving a full-scale performance of music by various missing links on the continuum of American music at Joe's Pub, located in The Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street in Manhattan. The program, including roots music by Gottschalk, Blind Tom, and Blind Boone, should be both fun and evocative. To add to the excitement, Terrance McKnight, host of WNYC's Evening Music, will act as Master of Ceremonies. For more information about the Joe's Pub performance and about how to reserve tickets, go to http://www.joespub.com. Joe's Pub only has 180 seats, so reserve early!
