- Poet, singer, actress born in Omaha, NE raised in Utica, MS. I intend to use my art to promote healing, love, light and liberation. I focus on my truth and go forward. If anything I want people to know they matter, we can transcend from victim situations to realize our true power to shape our lives, communities, our world. I volunteer at South Bronx Community based organizations Mothers on the Move and Sistas on the Rise to organize and build leadership with other women of color. I live my politics.
